Tasktility is Valens's in-house SaaS product: a cloud platform and mobile app where teams assign, track and automate their work. Designed and built entirely by Valens, it is used by German customers including the Tipico Group.

Organisations lacked one flexible tool to delegate tasks, automate repetitive work and track performance across teams.

How we worked

Project context

Tasktility started as a Valens in-house startup. It gives teams of any size one place to delegate, track, automate and evaluate tasks, with analytics, tags, calendars and an organisational hierarchy, and it is sold on a subscription model.

Delivery scope

Valens covered the whole product: UX/UI design, frontend, backend and mobile development, project and product management, and quality assurance.

How we built it

The product has eight modules: task management, analytics, automation, user management, time tracking, salary calculations, document management and hierarchy. The web app is built in React and the mobile app in React Native. The backend runs on Node.js and Express, with Firebase for real-time data, authentication and cloud functions, MySQL for structured data and complex queries, and Redis for caching and real-time processing.

Impact

Tasktility signed its first commercial customer shortly after launch, then closed deals with larger customer groups and expanded into Germany and the wider European market, where the Tipico Group adopted it. Development continues to support use cases across more industries.
